Welcome to Stonyfell Design.
My name is Michael Blake, and I recently finished my Communication Design Degree at the University of South Australia.
Let’s call me an emerging designer, but don’t let that fool you. I’ve been involved in R&D, product design and marketing-oriented projects for businesses big and small for close to 25 years. Along the way, I’ve worked in product development at Hamilton Laboratories, in brand management at Balfours Bakery, and in my own marketing business.
Most of my experience has been from a marketer’s perspective, working with graphic designers. At some point, I realised that the designers were having more fun than me, got a bit jealous, and decided to go back to university and learn.
The Stonyfell website is a collection of work I have created over the last few years for my Design Degree. Most of the projects are fictional, but they should give you a good idea of my capabilities. If you see something you like and think, yup, that’s what I want, please get in touch with me.
